@topdog..the fact that you mentioned all your dogs against a pitbull shows that pitbulls are the best at this game…i say cross breed a pitbull with an english bull terrier..then you will get the best fighting dog ever…

I love reading who has the largest c*** here “GET A LIFE BOYS” your talking as if the animals are bred for fighting “THEY ARE NOT” This page does not seem to be making any clear point here too. Other than promoting DOGS TO FIGHT!!.. And the people responding to it are those that love to use their dogs to fight. Should we find anyone of you doing it you’ll end up seeing a cell door and your dog being taken away from you. “Or even destroyed” as you have delibratley made that dog in to a killer.

I saw a Fila Brasilerio and Can Corso mix it up in the first fight. The winner takes on the following challenger. The Can Corso was faster although the fila had the weight. the Corso won on speed. The Corso took on the Canario. The dog fought gallant; but, the Corso was tired. The owner ended the fight by lifting his dog and paid everyone off in cash who had placed a bet. A rematch was scheduled for later. However, I never fought dogs. I have watched a number of them fight. I no longer participate in the activities and lost contact with those who do.

I am an old man, I have been around dogs all my life and have seen a variety of dogs that were purported to be able to beat the best of the APBT. None of them, and I mean none of them, in the pit were able to stop the pitbull. It is such BS to read some of the comments and to see that the TOSA was rated number one yet in Japan the pitbull is not allowed in the ring any longer with the TOSA since this very fine breed loses consistently to the pitbull. All of these breeds have a great deal to offer and are great dogs but for pit fighting, the APBT has no equal. Ask any person with experience with the various breeds (not one wedded to just a particular fighting breed) and you will be told the pitbull is numero ono. It certainly is NOT the best guard dog, the best shepherd, etc. It was NOT bred for that purpose. Hundreds of years of selective breeding for one purpose- fighting other dogs- has produced a fighter without equal. Sincerely and respectfully submitted.

How can you have anything but an apbt number 1on this list? While i agree some of these dogs are great guard dogs that doesn’t make for a great fighting dog. GAME! THATS WHAT MAKES THE APBT ABOVE THE REST! This also means that a great fighting dog doesn’t necessarily make for a great guard dog. I have owned Rotts, apbt’s & an american bulldog & i would say the rott in my eyes is one of the finest guard dogs around. By the way i would put my american bulldog above most dogs on your list.The Staffordshire bull terrier?c’mon ..

Bunch of fools in here who THINK they know about dog fighting. I know more about dog fighting than Jenna Jameson does about you know what.

I will post the top 5 fighting dogs in the world regardless of weight class.

Kangal – Mastiff family, strongest bite strength of all dogs to include the wolf. There bite strength has been recorded over 750 pds. I saw one of these dogs fight a pitbull and tear its throat out in about 15 seconds it was horrible.

Tosa Inu – Bread in Japan and dates back to the beginning of the Samurai and would fight on the battlefield with these great warriors. These dogs pound for pound will kill other dogs like the pitbull.

Great Paranese – Massive in length and upper body weight. These dogs are massive so keep your pitbull away from these dogs. I saw a pitbull freeze in place when one of these dogs pit its mouth over its entire head.

Kuvoz – Saw one of these fight 2 pitbulls at 1 time in AZ. The pits chesed its ears up a little but the male pitbull got hurt real bad when its rear leg was dangling with a broken leg. The other pitbull the female one was scooped up by its owner.

APBT – Basicly a pitbull on steroids enough said.

German shepard – Following 2nd only to the the kangal the german shepard has the second strongest bite radius of all dogs. Extremely fast and very smart. I will not get into their history as some will find it disturbing and offensive.

I’m sorry guys, all these dogs may be very strong dogs, and willing to fight till death to protect themselves or owners, but the Canis Panther Dog, is by far, the most likely to live from fighting any of these dogs. They have size, strength, agility, determination, and will fight till death if they, or their owners are threatened.
